Women's Tennis Honored by the ITA

ITA Academic Awards
CHICAGO - The DePaul women's tennis team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for its cumulative team grade-point average following the 2014-15 season.
The Blue Demons' team GPA surpassed the award's minimum of 3.2; it is the eighth consecutive year that DePaul has earned the ITA team academic award.
Additionally, seven Blue Demons were named ITA Scholar Athletes. Jarret Fisher, Jasmin Kling, Patricia Fargas, Patricia Lancranjan, Rebeca Mitrea, Yuliya Shupenia and Zaina Sufi each posted a cumulative GPA above 3.5.
The academic honor caps off the best season in program's history which saw the Blue Demons reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament and win the BIG EAST Championship for the second consecutive season.
