Dave Leitao to Throw out First Pitch at Wednesday's White Sox Game

CHICAGO - DePaul basketball coach Dave Leitao will throw out the first pitch on Wednesday night at U.S. Cellular Field prior to the Chicago White Sox hosting the Kansas City Royals. The game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. start on Chicago's South Side.
Leitao and the Blue Demons open practice this weekend as the team starts its prep for the opener on Saturday, Nov. 14 against Western Michigan. The game will be played at McGrath-Phillips Arena and is the lone home game until Saturday, Dec. 5. DePaul hosts Chicago State on Dec. 5 at Allstate Arena.
The non-conference schedule features five home games with two at McGrath-Phillips Arena and three at Allstate Arena. In addition to the season-opening game against Western Michigan, DePaul will also host Little Rock on Dec. 12 in Lincoln Park.
DePaul's non-conference schedule at Allstate Arena includes the Chicago State game as well as games against Northwestern on Dec. 19 and George Washington on Dec. 22. Following the George Washington game, the Blue Demons start the 18-game BIG EAST slate on Wednesday, Dec. 30 against Georgetown.
