CHICAGO - The 2016 DePaul Tip-Off Luncheon is set for Tuesday, Oct. 18 at McCormick Place West. DePaul fans can join head coaches Doug Bruno and Dave Leitao to preview the upcoming season while getting an up close look at the future home of Blue Demon basketball.
The luncheon will be on the third floor of McCormick Place West overlooking the construction site of the Event Center at McCormick Square. The facility is scheduled to open prior to the start of the 2017-18 season. DePaul's men's program plays its 37th and final season at Allstate Arena this season.
Leitao and Bruno will join host Laurence Holmes to discuss their programs as both teams open the regular-season schedule the weekend of Nov. 11 at McGrath-Phillips Arena. The DePaul women's team hosts the Maggie Dixon Classic on Nov. 11-12 followed by the men's season opener against Robert Morris on Nov. 13.
