Women's Tennis Finishes the Bradley Invitational

PEORIA, Ill. - The DePaul women's tennis team finished its first tournament of the 2016-17 season at the Bradley Invitational Sunday afternoon on The David Markin Tennis Courts.
Marina Cozac, Milica Tesic and Aspasia Avgeri played a final round of singles. Cozac and Tesic teamed up for a round of doubles.
Avgeri won her singles match against Pauline Chawafambria from NIU 6-2, 6-0. The freshman finished the Invitational 3-1 overall in singles play.
Cozac defeated Anna Daniel Fuentes from Illinois 7-5, 6-0. She finished 2-2 overall in singles.
In doubles, Cozac and Tesic defeated Stella Cliffe and Grace Summers from Eastern Illinois 8-3.
Up next, DePaul heads to Evanston, Ill. for the Wildcat Invite hosted by Northwestern Sept. 30- Oct. 2.
