
Blue Demons Defeat Western Michigan 4-0

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - DePaul women's tennis defeated Western Michigan 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Blue Demons (12-7, 3-2 BIG EAST) finished their weekend of competition 2-0 overall after defeating Butler on Saturday.
In doubles action, Florence Abbott and Ana Vladutu defeated Denise Azcui and Barbare Eristavi 6-2 at No. 2, while Milica Tesic and Keisha Clousing paired at No. 3 for a 6-4 mark over Katja Fevralev and Gabriela Slavova to claim the first point.
Clousing and Vladutu also tallied wins in their respective singles spots. Clousing defeated Tracy Kuhle at No. 2 6-1, 6-3, while Vladutu won against Fevralev 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3.
No. 124 Yuliya Shupenia also notched a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Melina Lyubomirova at No. 1.
Up next, DePaul travels to Marquette on Friday, April 21 for a 4 p.m. match and returns to Lakeshore Sport & Fitness for its final home and regular match of the season against Seton Hall on Saturday, April 22 at 3 p.m.
