Blue Demons Fall Short to Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, IN - With a thrilling 29-31 second set, the Blue Demons fall short to Indiana, 1-3. The teams fought for their second match at the Indiana Invitational. The DePaul volleyball team is 0-2 in the series, while Indiana is 2-0.
Indiana took the led in a close first set, finishing 25-21. Myah Reed led the match with 14 kills, followed by Claire Anderson with 11 kills. The teams battled the second set, 31-29, with Indiana closing the battle. Caitlyn Coffey racked up a .600 hitting percentage. Katie Dolan contributed an impressive 33 assists.
The Blue Demons fought back and took the third set from Indiana, 25-19. However, Indiana closed out the match with a 25-15 victory in the fourth set making the final, 3-1.
DePaul will returns tonight for the final match of the Indiana Invitational. The Blue Demons play Ball State at 4 p.m.
