CHICAGO - The Blue Demons defeated Idaho on Thursday night, 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23). This match began the two-day UIC Invitational in Chicago, Ill. The victory makes DePaul 1-0 in the invitational and 1-3 overall this season.
Brittany Maxwell led the squad to a victory in the four match rally. She topped the match statistics with 20 kills, 46 attacks, 23.0 points, and a .391 hitting percentage. Maxwell was one off her career bests in kills and attacks.
Other Blue Demons to top the leaderboard include Katie Dolan with 46 assists which marks a career high. Myah Reed helped with 14.5 points and 14 kills. Claire Anderson racked up 19 digs and 44 attacks.
