Women's Tennis Tops Saint Louis in Home Opener

CHICAGO - A strong singles performance and back-to-back doubles victories led the way for DePaul Friday night in the home opener at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness.
Keisha Clousing, Patricia Lancranjan, Marija Jovicic and Milica Tesic came through in the singles round to record four points in the Blue Demons' 5-2 win over Saint Louis in their first dual match of the season.
Prior to that, the tandem of Clousing and Lenka Antonijevic had eased past the Billikens duo of Ally and Cassie McKenzie 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Jovicic and Lancranjan followed up with a 6-1 triumph over Saint Louis' Alba Salinas and Ariana Rodriguez to register the doubles point.
Coach Mark Ardizzone and his team are back in action Sunday when they travel to Jackson, Wis. for a match against Milwaukee.
