CHICAGO - The DePaul Blue Demons host the Florida A&M Rattlers tonight at Wintrust Arena. Start time is 7:30 p.m. as the Blue Demons are looking to improve to 5-1 on the season and 5-0 on their home floor. Here's a few stats and storylines to keep an eye tonight.

DePaul Scoring Prowess: In five games this season the Blue Demons are averaging 79.2 points per game, good for third in the BIG EAST. Max Strus at 18.8 points per game and Eli Cain with a 14.2 scoring average lead the way for a Blue Demon team that has seven different players averaging at least 7.6 points per game. En route to their third-ranked scoring offense, DePaul has shot .474 from the field, also ranked third in the BIG EAST.

Beasts on the Board: Through five games the Blue Demons lead the BIG EAST in rebounding offense with an average of 43.0 rebounds per game. DePaul is also tied for third among the league's programs in rebounding defense at 33.0 per game. Leading the way for DePaul is Jaylen Butz at 7.8 rebounds per game (up from 4.2 rpg as a freshman) while Strus has improved his rebounding average by 1.8 rebounds per contest, snatching 7.4 rebounds a night, a year after averaging 5.6 rebounds per game.

Four Years in and Still Getting Better: Five games into his final campaign in a DePaul uniform, Eli Cain has improved this year from last year in essentially every stat category imaginable: scoring average (up from 11.7 ppg to 14.2 ppg), assist average (up from 4.7 apg to 5.2 apg), rebound average (up from 3.7 rpg to 5.0 rpg), steals per game (up from 0.9 spg to 1.4 spg), field goal percentage (up from .348 to .414), three point percentage (up from .313 to .423) and free throw percentage (up from .661 to .667).
Cain Named to Weekly Honor Roll: Senior guard Eli Cain was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll earlier on Monday. It marks the fourth time in his career he's earned the honor.
