Women's Tennis Cruises Past Eastern Illinois 6-1

CHICAGO ââ'¬" DePaul women's tennis came close to a clean sweep Sunday at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness.
The Blue Demons won the doubles point and lost just one singles match in a 6-1 triumph over Eastern Illinois.
It's a good way to head into the upcoming spring break. The Blue Demons don't have another match until their BIG EAST opener March 30 at St. John's.
On Sunday, Keisha Clousing, Patricia Lancranjan, Aspasia Avgeri, Marija Jovicic and Milica Tesic all won their singles matches.
DePaul (5-5) swept the doubles matches behind the tandems of Clousing and Lancranjan, Avgeri and Tesic plus Jovicic and Alina Kuzmenkova.
Sunday's success was a nice follow-up to last week's 7-0 victory over Northern Illinois.
