Stephen Sul leads DePaul on final day in Beallsville, Md.

BEALLSVILLE, Md. – The DePaul golf team concluded play at the Georgetown Intercollegiate on Tuesday as Stephen Sul was the top finisher for the Blue Demons. Sul finished in a tie for 27th place while the team finished 12th.

Sul posted a 73 (+3) in the final round to finish with the score of 222 (+9). He was in a group in 27th place for this third top 30 finish in his three collegiate tournaments.

Nik Gatmaytan followed Sul in a tie for 32nd while Noah Kolar finshed in a group in 53rd place. Gatmaytan shot a 74 (+3) on Tuesday for a tournament total of 223 (+10). Kolar tallied an 82 (+11) in his third round to finish at 230 (+17).

Conor Glennon posted a 54-hole total of 240 (+27) after an 81 (+10) on Tuesday to finish in 69th place. Campbell Wolf did not play on Tuesday after withdrawing from the tournament after the first two rounds.

Washington won the team title by a wide margin with a score of 835 (-17). Butler and Loyola (Md.) tied for second with scores of 862 (+10). DePaul total of 909 (+57) put them in 12th place. Washington's Noah Woolsey and Henry Lee posted the top individual scores of 208 (-5).

The Blue Demons continue the fall schedule next week at the Musketeer Classic. The event takes place at Meketewah CC in Cincinnati on Oct. 21-22.
