Blue Demons host Pirates at Wintrust Arena to kick off BIG EAST schedule
CHICAGO - The Blue Demons open the 18-game BIG EAST slate with a Monday night game against preseason favorite Seton Hall. DePaul claimed both meetings over the Pirates last season with a combined margin of victory of just five points. Start time at Wintrust Arena is set for 7:30 p.m.

Monday's game can be seen on FS1 with Lisa Byington (play-by-play) and Steve Lavin (analyst) handling the broadcast duties. Seton Hall is 8-4 overall and receiving votes in both polls entering league play following a 75-55 win against Prairie View A&M on Dec. 22. DePaul stands at 12-1 and is also receiving votes in the national polls. The Blue Demons concluded the non-conference schedule with an 83-78 win over Northwestern on Dec. 21.

Best Non-Conference Record: DePaul's 12-1 non-conference record is the best regular-season mark since DePaul joined the Great Midwest Conference. Prior to the 1991-92 season, the Blue Demons were an independent before competing in the Great Midwest (1991-95), Conference USA (1995-05) and now the BIG EAST since the 2005-06 season. The one loss this season is the only non-conference slate with a single loss as the 1993-94 squad went 12-2 before starting conference games.
