Gatmaytan wins second match of the day to lead Blue Demons

DADE CITY, Fla. – Carlo Antonio Gatmaytan won his second match of the day as DePaul knocked off Drake by a score of 3.5-2.5 in its second mach of the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play. Gatmaytan, Bobby Thomas and Campbell Wolf posted wins for the Blue Demons against the Bulldogs.

Gatmaytan posted a 5&4 victory against Drake that followed his 4&3 win over his opponent from Ball State on Monday morning. Thomas won his match 4&3 and Wolf won a close contest 1-Up. Joe McCarthy's matched finished all square and Charlie Spencer-White (1-Up) and Grant Boyson (2&1) both dropped their matches.
