Blue Demons back in action at 1 p.m. against Stetson
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The DePaul men's tennis team opened up their three match weekend on Saturday morning dropping a 4-1 decision to host FAU.
The Blue Demons took the doubles point with a 6-3 win at No. 3 by the tandem of Tripp Tuff and Tamas Zador over the Owls Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Mehdi Laalej. Boris Spanjaard and Chris Casati clinched the 1-0 advantage for DePaul with a 7-6 triumph at No. 1 over Jason Legall and Ignacio Garcia.
In singles action, DePaul struggled to find their swing as FAU clinched the match with four singles victories.
DePaul (5-3, 2-0) currently leads Stetson 3-2 in a match that is postponed until Sunday morning due to darkness.
