WASHINGTON, D.C. - Looking to put a halt to their three-game losing skid, DePaul is back in action this evening as the Blue Demons take on the Georgetown Hoyas at 6 p.m CT at Capital One Arena. Here are three stats and storylines to get you ready for the game.

What Happened This Past Wednesday?: A week ago, when DePaul hosted Creighton on Wednesday night, five Blue Demons finished in double figures but the Bluejays came out victorious in a back and forth contest that contained eight tied scores and 12 lead changes. For DePaul, senior Max Strus led the Blue Demons in scoring for the second straight contest with 18 points as Creighton made it a point to clamp down on DePaul's post scoring by sending constant double teams on post up opportunities. On the bright side, the Blue Demons won't have to wait long to get another shot at the Bluejays as DePaul travels to Nebraska for a rematch with Creighton on Saturday, March 9 in the regular-season finale.

How Does DePaul Match Up Tonight?: For the Blue Demons, who enter tonight's tilt just one game behind Georgetown in the BIG EAST standings, this evening's matchup will be the first step towards ending the 2018-19 season on a positive note. For Georgetown it has been a story of two sides of the ball this year as the Hoyas enter Wednesday's matchup as the top scoring team in the BIG EAST at 81 points per game, but the worst defensive team in the conference with an average of 77.9 points allowed per game over the course of the season.

Strus' Efficiency On The Rise: For DePaul's star senior Max Strus, while he has finished in double figures for scoring in every single conference game this season, his efficiency has not been quite where it was last season, when Strus became one of the BIG EAST's breakout stories. However, over his past three conference contests, Strus has posted three of his five most efficient scoring games of the conference season, as the senior wing is averaging 19 points per game on .422 (19-45) shooting dating back to Feb. 12 against Marquette.
