CHICAGO - DePaul women's soccer takes a quick trip north to face Loyola in this season's Red-Line Rivalry on Thursday night. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. from Loyola Soccer Park. The Blue Demons return home for a midday match on Sunday against Bowling Green.Â

SCOUTING THE RAMBLERS
Loyola women's soccer currently sits 2-3-1 after battling #16 Wisconsin to a 1-1 draw and defeating SEC opponent Missouri 2-1. Megan Nemec and Aleksa Tataryn lead the team with three goals. Nemec also has two assists on the board. The Ramblers have split up the duties between the pipes with keepers Grace Droessler and Maddie Hausmann. Droessler has played in four games, made 22 saves and owns a .710 save percentage. Hasumann has three games under her belt, six saves and a .545 save percentage.

Loyola holds the advantage in the series, 6-4-1. The Blue Demons chipped away at that record with a 1-0 win last season that saw Morgan Turner notch the game winner and Mollie Eriksson's second clean sheet of the season. DePaul has blanked Loyola three out of the last four matches.

Bowling Green holds a 2-2-1 record following a 2-1 double OT victory against Dayton and a 2-0 loss to Michigan. They face Michigan State on Thursday evening before taking the trip to Lincoln Park. Kennedy White leads the team in scoring with three goals while Nikki Cox leads in assists, also with three. Maureen Kennedy follows White with two goals. The Falcons have also split the goalkeeping between Becky Moss and Kathleen Duwve. Duwve has played in four matches, recording seven saves and a shutout and Moss has played two games, notching 10 saves.

This is the second meeting between the two teams following last years, 1-1 draw in Bowling Green. Mary Tierney scored the equalizer in the 88th minute of the game, but neither team would capitalize in overtime.

DePaul women's soccer fell to the No. 7 South Carolina Gamecocks on Sunday morning, 1-0, on the final day of the Boilermaker Challenge Cup in West Lafayette, Ind. Despite the loss, DePaul claimed second place in the tournament. Jade Eriksen-Russo, Avery Hay and Kristin Boos were named to the All-Tournament Team following DePaul's win over then-No. 11 Kansas.Â
South Carolina (5-0-0) laid the offense on thick in the first half, firing off seven shots while their back line held DePaul (2-4-0) to zero shots. The Gamecocks' Lauren Chang would notch the go-ahead goal in the 64th minute.Â
