CHICAGO, Ill. - The Blue Demons are now 2-0 in DePaul Invitational play and 7-1 on the season after taking down Holy Cross in an intense four-set match 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19).
FROM COACH ZIDEK
"A scrappy effort on defense by both teams today," said head coach Marie Zidek. "I thought our serve game really gave us a leg up in the match and our defense allowed us to keep enough pressure on for the win.
"It was a good team fight and we are very much looking forward to Valpo this evening."
