Campbell Wolf in Top 10 Through Two Rounds

DePaul sophomore tied for ninth after 36 holes on Monday
CHESTERTON, Ind. – Campbell Wolf is tied for ninth to lead DePaul on the first day of the Crusader Collegiate. The Blue Demons are seventh among the 15 teams competing after two rounds of play with the third round set for Tuesday.
Wolf opened the tournament with a one-under score of 71 before carding an even-par 72 in the second round. He is tied for ninth place with an overall score of 143 (-1), but is just three shots behind second place. Wright State's Mikkei Mathieson has separated himself from the field at the top of the leaderboard with a two-round score of 136 (-8).
Noah Kolar follows Wolf in a group in 18th place after posting rounds of 75 (+3) and 71 (-1) on Monday for a tournament total of 146 (+2). Playing in his first collegiate event, Kolar's second round of 71 matched the first round score by Wolf for the best round of the day by a DePaul golfer.
Nik Gatmaytan is tied for 21st after rounds of 74 (+2) and 73 (+1) while Stephen Sul is tied for 40th with scores of 73 (+1) and 77 (+5). Grant Boyson and Perry Chong round out the first day's action for DePaul with Boyson in a tie for 44th and Chong in a group in 65th place. Boyson carded rounds of 73 (+1) and 78 (+6) while Chong finished with scores of 76 (+4) and 81 (+9).
As a team, the Blue Demons hold a score of 590 (+14) and sit just a shot behind sixth-place Butler. Wright State holds a six-shot lead over host Valparaiso as the field plays the final 18 holes at Sand Creek CC on Tuesday morning.
