Wolf Keeps Blue Demons in the Hunt Through Two Rounds

Blue Demons tied for fourth after two rounds and just five shots off the lead
UNION, Ky. – DePaul's Campbell Wolf matched his best round as a Blue Demon on Monday afternoon to finish the day in the top five at the NKU Fall Classic. The Blue Demons are tied for fourth and just five shots behind the lead heading into Tuesday's final round.
Wolf started his tournament with a one-over 72 in the first round before carding a 67 (-4) in the afternoon circuit at Lassing Pointe GC. His second round score matched his best round of 67 set at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational last September. Wolf is six shots off the lead with a 36-hole score of 139 (-3). West Virginia's Logan Perkins leads the field with a nine-under total of 133.
Perry Chong is in a group in 24th place with a tournament score of 147 (+5). He recorded rounds of 74 (+3) and 73 (+2) on Monday.
DePaul's final three competitors are all in a group in 32nd place after two rounds with scores of 149 (+7). Nik Gatmaytan posted rounds of 73 (+2) and 76 (+4) while Noah Kolar recorded a 74 (+3) and a 75 (+4). Stephen Sul started the day with a 77 (+6) before coming with a one-over 72 in the afternoon's second round.
Evansville is in first place with a team score of 575 (+7) to sit just one shot ahead of Morehead State and St. Francis (Pa.). The Blue Demons are at 580 (+12) and tied with Northern Kentucky for fourth place.
