Men's Tennis Falls 4-3 at Green Bay on Sunday

Match came down to the final competition at No. 6 singles
GREEN BAY, Wis. – DePaul men's tennis went right down to the wire against Green Bay on Sunday and came up just short in a 4-3 setback at the Green Bay Tennis Center.
It was all tied up 3-3 and the final result came down to the No. 6 singles match. Luuk Wassenaar dropped the first set 7-5 and rallied to deadlock it at with a 6-4 decision in the second set.
The entire match came down to a third-set tiebreaker that was won by Green Bay's Ivan Radomirovic 7-6. DePaul fell to 1-2 on the season as Green Bay won its dual-match debut.
After losing the doubles point, the Blue Demons came back with singles victories by Boris Spanjaard at No 2, Christopher Casati at No. 4 and Tripp Tuff at No. 5.
The grueling 12-match road swing continues on Saturday when coach Matt Brothers and his team head to West Layafette, Ind. to face host Purdue at 9 a.m. and Toledo at 1 p.m.
