Blue Demons Travel to Iowa State for Big 12-BIG EAST Battle

DePaul faces the Cyclones in annual series between BIG EAST and Big 12
CHICAGO – DePaul travels to Iowa State in the second edition of the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle. The annual event is in its second year of a four-year agreement between the two conferences.
The Blue Demons and Cyclones will meet for just the second time ever on Sunday, Dec. 6 in Ames, Iowa. DePaul claimed the first meeting on Dec. 20, 1967 in Chicago by a score of 67-63. A year ago in the first year of the series, DePaul knocked off Texas Tech, 65-60, in overtime at Wintrust Arena.
The matchups were jointly determined by the two conferences. The home school will have the right to determine the venue of its game. Broadcast rights of the games will be determined by the conference national television rights agreement of the home team, which is ESPN for the Big 12 and FOX Sports for the BIG EAST.
The four-year agreement between the two conferences will continue through the 2022-23 season with an equal number of games played in each conference's home market each year. Television designations and game times will be announced when available.
