DePaul Drops Second Match in Florida

DADE CITY, Fla. – The Blue Demons dropped their semifinal match, 6-0, against Eastern Michigan on Monday afternoon. DePaul aims to finish third in the eight-team event when the Blue Demons face off against Dayton in the final match on Tuesday morning.

DePaul came up short in all six matches against Eastern Michigan with Nik Gatmaytan, Stephen Sul and Conor Glennon each falling 2&1. Noah Kolar lost his match 2UP while Campbell Wolf lost 4&3 and Perry Chong dropped his match at 6&4.

DePaul and Dayton tee off at 8:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in the third-place match of the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play. Eastern Michigan advances to the championship match against Drake while Ball State and Bowling Green play for fifth place and Xavier and Loyola-Chicago meet for seventh place.
