Blue Demons Tied for Seventh After Weather-Shortened First Day

Three players tied for 23rd place heading into Tuesday's final round
CHICAGO – The DePaul golf team is tied for seventh after one round as the Tom Tontimonia Invitational was shortened to just 18 holes on Monday. The final round is scheduled for Tuesday at Lakewood Country Club.
DePaul was consistent as a team as three players posted scores of 73 (+2) on Monday. Artemiy Yalovenko, Conor Glennon and Nik Gatmaytan are all in a group in 23rd place after their two-over rounds while Noah Kolar is tied for 35th and Alex Vekich is tied for 51st. Kolar recorded a opening round of 74 (+3) while Vekich posted a 75 (+4) in his first round.
Butler holds the top spot on the team leaderboard at 283 (-1) while Oakland is second at 284 (E). The Blue Demons are tied for seventh with Cleveland State and Saint Francis (Pa.) with a team total of 293 (+9). Individually, Kasey Lilly from Purdue Fort Wayne and Dayton's Kyle Schmidt are tied for first following rounds of 69 (-2).
