DePaul Adds KT Raimey During Signing Period

DePaul head coach Tony Stubblefield signs Raimey to National Letter of Intent
CHICAGO – DePaul head coach Tony Stubblefield announced today that KT Raimey has completed the necessary paperwork and will join the program starting next season. Raimey is a 6-4 guard that is currently attending the College of Southern Idaho.
"We're excited to be adding KT Raimey to our roster next season," said Stubblefield. "KT is a dynamic guard that fits what we look for when recruiting. His versatility will be a factor and great addition for us both offensively and defensively."
CSI was ranked No. 15 in the preseason NJCAA top 25 and through the early portion of the season, Raimey is averaging 9.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds over three games. He has scored in double figures in two of three games with 11 points in the opener against Lee College and 14 points against Casper College.
He averaged 11.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game during the 2020-21 season that saw CSI reach the NJCAA National Tournament and finish the season with a 21-4 record. He shot .479 (90-188) from the field that included a .353 (36-102) mark from three-point range. Raimey scored a season-high 26 points in a game at Snow College and also poured in 23 points in the Region 18 championship game against Salt Lake CC to advance CSI to the national tournament.
Raimey attended Olathe North High School in Olathe, Kan., and played for MOKAN Basketball on the AAU circuit. During his senior season at Olathe North, he averaged 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while earning All-State and All-Conference honors both as a junior and senior. MOKAN claimed the EYBL Peach Jam title in 2019.
