Max Strus Returns to Wintrust Arena This Friday for Northern Kentucky Game

Strus to be honored and sign autographs at halftime
CHICAGO – The 'Strus Is Loose' and he's bringing some Miami heat to Wintrust Arena on Friday, Nov. 26 as DePaul faces off with Northern Kentucky. The Blue Demons take their perfect 4-0 record into the matchup with the Norse at 4 p.m. on Friday.
DePaul alum, Max Strus (2017-2019), will be in attendance alongside Miami Heat teammates for the game which will feature Miami-themed in-game entertainment. In one of the most impressive two-year stints in program history, Strus totaled 1,226 points over his 66 games in a DePaul uniform. The 705 points as a senior joined Mark Aguirre in the 1978-79 and 1979-80 seasons with 700-plus points by a DePaul player and his career scoring average of 18.6 is fourth in program history. Strus recorded eight games of 30 or more points joining Aguirre (17 games), George Mikan (13) and Tom Kleinschmidt (8) as the only players in school history to have at least eight career games of 30-plus points. He tallied a career-high 43 points (tied for sixth in school history) against St. John's on March 3, 2019 and is also ranked in DePaul's top five all-time in three-pointers, three-point attempts and free throw percentage.
In addition to be recognized in the first half, Strus will sign autographs on the concourse during halftime. Fans can enjoy tropical drinks, including Blue Demon 'Ritas and Rum Runners, at bars throughout the arena all night long.
DePaul students in attendance will receive exclusive giveaways upon entry and will be eligible to compete in in-game competitions to win a signed Max Strus jersey or signed pair of Nike shoes.
