Blue Demons in Alabama for Spring Break Tournament

DePaul set to compete in the Alabama A&M Golf Classic on Monday and Tuesday
CHICAGO – Spring Break week takes the DePaul golf team south as the Blue Demons are set for the Alabama A&M Golf Classic. The three-round, two-day event is set for Monday and Tuesday in Huntsville, Ala.
The Alabama A&M Golf Classic will be played at Hampton Cove Golf Course on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The Highlands Course at Hampton Cove features a par 72 layout over 7,428 yards. The first two rounds of the tournament are on Monday starting at 8 a.m. followed by the final round on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
DePaul's lineup includes Conor Glennon, Noah Kolar, Artemiy Yalovenko, Perry Chong and Grant Boyson. Nik Gatmaytan and David Griggs will also be playing as individuals.
Looking Ahead: Following the Alabama A&M Golf Classic, the Blue Demons return to Ruffled Feathers GC to host the John Dallio Match Play on Friday, April 2. The Dayton Flyer Intercollegiate (April 12-13) and the Hawkeye Invitational (April 17-18) lead up to the annual BIG EAST Championship on April 30-May 2.
Dallio Memorial Returns: An event in the memory of former DePaul golfer John Dallio returns to the schedule as DePaul hosts the John Dallio Match Play on April 2. The four-team event will be played at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont as the program hosted a fall tournament in Dallio's name through the 2016-17 season. Bradley, Chicago State and Loyola joins DePaul for the event with pairings to be determined based on latest GolfStat rankings.
2019-20 Recap: The Blue Demons finished the shortened season with six tournaments and two match play events. Five different players led the team in the six tournaments while the Blue Demons dropped a match against Loyola-Chicago to conclude the fall schedule before opening the spring slate with a third-place finish at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play.
