
Glennon Leads DePaul on Day Two at Streamsong

Blue Demons move up two spots on team leaderboard during Tuesday's second round
BOWLING GREEN, Fla. – Conor Glennon turned in one of the best rounds of the day on Tuesday to lead DePaul as the Blue Demons moved two spots up the leaderboard. The third round of the 2021 BIG EAST Championship presented by JEEP is set for Wednesday at Streamsong Resort.
Glennon's round of 70 (-2) was the third-best score of the day. Only Connecticut's Caleb Manuel with a 66 (-6) and Marquette's Nicolas Evangelio round of 69 (-3) posted better scores than Glennon. His career best tying round moved the sophomore into a tie for 10th place overall with a tournament score of 145 (+1).
Artemiy Yalovenko is tied for 12th after carding a 72 (E) in the second round. His 36-hole total of 146 (+2) puts him in a three-way tie for 12th place.
Nik Gatmaytan is tied for 21st and Noah Kolar is in a group in 31st place. Gatmaytan holds a tournament total of 149 (+5) after his round of 74 (+2) while Kolar is at 155 (+11) following a 77 (+5) on Tuesday. Grant Boyson played in the second round for DePaul after Perry Chong played in the first round with Boyson posting an 81 (+9).
Connecticut moved into first place and leads Marquette by two shots after 36 holes. The Blue Demons moved up the leaderboard and are in sixth place heading into the final round. DePaul is six shots behind fifth-place Villanova.
Butler's Michael Cascino maintained his individual lead at six-under par for the tournament with a two-round score of 138 (-6). He is one shot ahead of Marquette's Hunter Eichhorn.
