Cross Country Travels to Weis-Crockett Invitational

Blue Demons head to Oklahoma State on Friday
CHICAGO - The DePaul men and women's cross country teams are headed west to Stillwater, Okla. for their third meet of the season and final meet before the BIG EAST Championships at the end of October.
The Weis-Crockett Invitational, hosted by Oklahoma State, takes place on Saturday. The teams will be tackling the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course starting with the men's 8K set to begin at 8:30 a.m. CT with the women's 6K following on the same course at 9:20 a.m. CT.
The competition for the Weis-Crockett Invitational includes 29 teams from around the country. The men's field is highlighted by No. 4 Oklahoma State, No. 21 Arkansas, No. 25 Montana State and No. 29 Cal Baptist. The women will face No. 3 Oklahoma State and No. 19 Cal Baptist. BIG EAST opponent Butler will also be at the meet.
DePaul cross country has participated in two meets thus far. The Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational saw the men's team earn a third place finish with Shane Knanishu and Dominic Bruce leading the way. The women's team came in fifth lead by Olivia Borowiak who placed first overall in the meet with a time of 20:52.95. Â
Following the Weiss-Crockett Invitational, the Blue Demons will head to Attleboro, Mass. for the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29.
