DePaul Announces 2022-23 Men's and Women's Basketball Gameday Enhancements

CHICAGO – With the Blue Demons scheduled to play 31 total men's and women's basketball games in Wintrust Arena, DePaul Athletics has continued its work to provide the best and safest possible fan experience in the nation. That work has led to the following upgrades and operational changes for the 2022-23 season.
"I'm eager to showcase several new fan experience enhancements in store for the upcoming basketball season," said Vice President and Director of Athletics DeWayne Peevy. "While we will be implementing several new changes, we still want to hear feedback from Blue Demon Nation to be at our best all season long. We'll be intentional in collecting feedback after every game so we can continue on our pursuit to provide a first-class experience at Wintrust Arena."
DePaul Blue Demons App
The official DePaul Blue Demons app features live and on-demand video content, in-game statistics, score updates, a digital portal to manage mobile tickets, gameday resources, a rewards program, comprehensive news, and more. Throughout the men's and women's basketball season, DePaul Athletics will utilize the app for a variety of in-game entertainment features, including light shows, trivia, and redemption of special promotions. The DePaul Blue Demons app is available for download from the App Store and Google Play by visiting DePaulBlueDemons.com/app.
Doors Open Time
Doors to Wintrust Arena will now open 1.5 hours prior to tipoff, instead of 2 hours, for each DePaul men's and women's basketball game. Fans are reminded they may enter through the skybridge connected to the Lot A parking garage or through the arena's main entrance, located at the corner of Cermak and Indiana.
Bag Lockers & Clear Bag Policy
As a reminder, Wintrust Arena's clear bag policy remains in place for all DePaul Athletics events. Each fan will be permitted to carry one large clear bag—either a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag or a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". New this season, fans who are unable to leave their bags at home may utilize secure, rentable lockers outside the arena to store their belongings throughout the game.
Blue Demon Moments
Make your game day extra special this season with Blue Demon Moments. Beginning with DePaul's men's basketball game on Nov. 7, fans can purchase special experiences at all men's and women's basketball games including video board messages, a visit from DIBS, access to the postgame press conference, and more!
Blue Demon Moments will go on sale to fans in early November. These exclusive experiences must be purchased in advance of game day, are available while supplies lasts, and require a valid game ticket for redemption.
DePaul Blue Demons 50/50 Raffle
Blue Demon fans across Illinois can purchase tickets for the DePaul Blue Demons 50/50 Raffle online and at Wintrust Arena. For all DePaul men's and women's basketball home games this season, fans can purchase raffle tickets online at DePaulBlueDemons.com/Raffle beginning at 10 a.m. CT until the end of that day's game or from a Raffle Ambassador at Wintrust Arena when doors open until the end of halftime. As a reminder, all purchases at Wintrust Arena are cashless.
In accordance with state and local law, raffle tickets for the DePaul Blue Demons 50/50 Raffle are only available for purchase in the State of Illinois by individuals who are 18 years or older. The winning ticket will receive half of the net proceeds from the game's raffle ticket sales and the other half will benefit DePaul Athletics' Championship Experience Fund.
Promotions & Giveaways
Blue Demon fans will experience new promotions in addition to some returning, fan-favorite offerings including: Billy Blue Demon Throwback Night, DePaul Faculty and Staff Appreciation Nights, Veterans Day Salute to Service game, Super Hero Day, and half price domestic beer nights. Giveaways this season include: rally towels, t-shirts, koozies, winter hats, snapback hats, and more! The 2022-23 men's and women's basketball promotional schedule will be released in early November online.
Blue Demon Club
For all men's basketball games this season, the Blue Demon Club will offer ticket holders new grab-and-go soft drink, water, and sparkling water options for fans in addition to newly inspired menus. Blue Demon Club access will continue to be offered to season and single-game ticket holders in Section 108-110. New this season, B. Mikan Society Lounge
The courtside lounge, beneath Section 103, will have an all-new look this season as part of its rebranding to The Mikan Society Lounge. This exclusive space will welcome Mikan Society Members—DePaul Athletics' new major gift society. Named in honor of DePaul Basketball great, George Mikan, the Mikan Society recognizes supporters that commit to contributions of $50,000 or more. B. Coleman Aviation Courtside Seating
Season and single-game ticket holders in the B. Coleman Aviation Courtside seating will now have access to the Blue Demon Club for men's basketball games from the time doors open until the conclusion of the game. Merchandise Location
The DePaul Team Shop will have a new location this season, located behind Section 126. In addition to the new location, the shop will offer several new licensees and apparel options.
Pyrotechnics
Fans should be aware that during DePaul's team introductions, the venue's lights will be lowered and flame towers, strobe lighting, and other special effects will be in use at all DePaul basketball games this season.
Apple & Samsung Pay
Apple and Samsung Pay functionality has been added at all concession locations and bars. Please note, all concession locations and bars inside Wintrust Arena will be cashless once again this season.
DoorDash Concessions Ordering & Hawkers
New this season, fans will be able to skip traditional lines by leveraging the DoorDash app to order within the arena from your smartphone for pickup at designed DoorDash lines. In addition, hawkers will be added in the stands for most games to alleviate wait times at the concession stand and offer more convenient service to Blue Demon fans.

The DePaul Blue Demons Mobile Pass is a brand-new ticket offering that allows you to experience Wintrust Arena from different seat locations throughout the season. The fully mobile pass guarantees you a ticket to each home game at a more affordable rate than a traditional season ticket. Group Rates & Rentals – Suites & Demon Deck
Group ticket prices will be available to groups of 10 or more attending DePaul men's or women's basketball games. For more information on pricing, fans can request a call here or contact the DePaul Athletics Ticket Office at (773) 325-7526 or tickets@depaul.edu.
Additionally, two group rental options will exist this season. Great for birthday parties, corporate outings, entertaining clients, or other private events, each option features great amenities, comfortable furnishings, and personal food and beverage service.
Women's Athletics Advancement Fee
Beginning with the 2022-23 season, DePaul Athletics has introduced a Women's Athletics Advancement fee on DePaul men's basketball ticket purchases. There will be a $1 surcharge on each men's basketball ticket purchased. The Women's Athletics Advancement fee will be applicable to mini-pack, single-game, group, and select promotional ticket purchases. There will be no assessment on season tickets, complimentary tickets, or student tickets.

Fan Feedback Program
Fan feedback is crucial to DePaul Athletics' efforts to provide the best and safest possible fan experience in the nation. After select games, ticket holders will receive a link to a fan feedback survey. Survey results will be evaluated weekly by DePaul Athletics' operations staff, allowing for improvements to be made between games. - Suite Rentals – Blue Demon fans will be able to enjoy a private and relaxed environment on gameday from the Wintrust Arena suites. Suites accommodate 10 to 16 people per game and start at $600 for men's basketball games and $250 for women's basketball games.
- Demon Deck – Groups purchasing 50 or more tickets can secure the Demon Deck, a semi-private overlook above Section 117. Food and beverage packages with a dedicated bartender are available.

- Season Ticket Discounts – DePaul Faculty & Staff
Full-time DePaul University employees will receive a 20% discount off the full season ticket rate in all general lower-level and 200-level locations at Wintrust Arena. A maximum of four (4) seats can be purchased at the discount. View complete details on DePaul employee discounts here.
- Student Tickets & Entry: DePaul students will continue to be offered complimentary tickets and roundtrip motorcoach transportation from Lincoln Park to Wintrust Arena for all DePaul basketball games. All student tickets must enter through the dedicated set of student entry doors at the main entrance of Wintrust Arena. Student tickets will not successfully scan at other doors or entry points.
- Mobile Ticketing: DePaul Athletics fully transitioned to mobile ticketing at all DePaul Athletics events, beginning with the 2021-22 season. Mobile tickets provide a safe and contactless environment for fans. Print-at-home paper tickets (PDFs) were discontinued and are no longer be accepted at any DePaul Athletics venue to further combat fraud and counterfeiting commonly associated with PDF tickets.
- Infant Tickets: For DePaul Athletics events at Wintrust Arena, infants or toddlers under 36 inches in height who will not be needing a seat and will sit on a parent/guardian's lap, do not need a ticket to enter. If a seat must be occupied by the infant and/or carrier, a regular ticket must be purchased. Ticket policies for DePaul postseason events may differ due to guidelines set by the NCAA, BIG EAST Conference, or other sponsoring organization.
- DIBS Kids Club
DIBS Kids Club Members will receive great benefits once again this year, including free admission and complimentary guest tickets to select men's and women's basketball games. Memberships are on sale now for $30 each and include benefits through June 30, 2023.
