DePaul Completes Second Day of Husky Invite

Blue Demons continue their west coast trip
SEATTLE, Wash. - The DePaul women's tennis team finished up the second day of competition at the Husky Invite in Seattle, Wash.
The Blue Demons started day two with a singles competition against the Washington State Cougars. Yuliya Kizelbasheva and Mayya Perova both earned wins against their opponents. Hannah Smith, Eleanor Nobbs, Lenka Antonijevic and Greta Carbone all dropped their first matches of the day.
DePaul finished out their day of competition with a doubles matchup against the hosting Washington Huskies. The pairings of Kizelbasheva/ Antonijevic and Yergler/ Perova both defeated their competition. Yergler/Nobbs, Perova/ Martin and Smith/ Carbone all fell in their matchups.Â
Maddie Yergler and Mayya Perova played a final doubles match together against Alaia Rubio Perez and Rimona Rouf where they secured the final win for the Blue Demons on the day.
UP NEXT: DePaul women's tennis will be back in action at 11 a.m. on Sunday as they play in their final matchup of the Husky invite, a singles matchup against Oregon.
