The Huskies came within seven points with under a minute to play in the period, but a three from Keke Rimmer would allow the Blue Demons to take a 31-21 advantage after 10 minutes of play.
Northern Illinois utilized a 10-3- run to cut DePaul's lead to just a point with two minutes remaining the second quarter, but a putback from Tara Daye and a free throw from Morrow would send the Blue Demons into the locker room in front, 43-39.
At halftime, Morrow led all scorers with 17 points to go along with six rebounds. As a team, the Blue Demons held a 23-15 advantage on the boards.
Huskies would tie the score 90 seconds into the second half and later take their first lead of the game on an A'Jah Davis layup.
