DePaul Returns Home to Host Cleveland State on Tuesday

Blue Demons and Vikings meet at Wintrust Arena with tip off at 7pm
CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball returns home to Wintrust Arena for a matchup with Cleveland State on Tuesday evening.

DePaul (1-1) will look to bounce back from a setback at Northern Illinois on Saturday after picking up a 51-point victory over American in the season-opener on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The Blue Demons are led by preseason All-American Aneesah Morrow who is averaging 24.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game through the first two games. Morrow picked up her 24th career double-double against the Huskies and was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Junior guards Darrione Rogers and Kendall Holmes are averaging double figures with 19.5 and 10.5 points per game, respectively, after opening week. Keke Rimmer has made the most of an increased role this season, posting 9.5 points per game and grabbing 8.0 rebounds.
As a team, the Blue Demons have been +33 on the glass while picking up 31 steals on the defensive end.
Cleveland State (1-1) returns nine letterwinners from a season ago which saw the Vikings appear in the Horizon League Championship game and post an overall record of 23-9. On the young season, CSU has dropped an 87-54 decision to then-No. 8 Iowa State before nabbing their first win of the season over Hofstra in a 62-46 win. Destiny Leo leads the Vikings with 27 points through a pair of games.
DePaul and Cleveland State will meet for the 16th time on Tuesday night and the first time since 1992. The Blue Demons hold the overall edge 13-2 and have won 11-consecutive in the series.
