Olivia Borowiak Tackles NCAA Championships

Borowiak heads to Stillwater, Okla. for championship race
CHICAGO - DePaul cross country star Olivia Borowiak hits the road for the final time in the 2022 season as she heads to the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Okla.Â
The championship race will take place at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The women's 6K race will kick off at 9:20 a.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPNU, with coverage beginning at 9 a.m.
This is the first time since 2002, and second time in program history, that a member of the Blue Demons cross country squad is participating in the National Championship. Erin Moffett was the last member of a DePaul women's cross country team to run in the national meet, placing 37th overall with a time of 20:34.6.
Olivia Borowiak earned an automatic bid to the championship meet with her sixth place finish at Midwest Regionals on Nov. 11. She finished the 6K race with a time of 20:13.8, setting a DePaul new record in the process. Borowiak also earned All-Region honors for finishing within the top-25 at the regional meet.
