Aneesah Morrow Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Morrow averaged 38.5 points and 11 rebounds in 1-1 week for the Blue Demons
NEW YORK – For the second-straight week, DePaul sophomore forward Aneesah Morrow has been recognized by the BIG EAST Conference for her standout performance with a selection to the Weekly Honor Roll.
Morrow led the league in scoring in a 1-1 week for the Blue Demons, averaging 38.5 points per game while also grabbing 11.0 rebounds per game.
In an overtime setback to Cleveland State on Tuesday, Morrow tied the program record for points in a single game with 42 to go along with 15 rebounds while pouring in 35 points in a 98-83 victory over RV/RV Miami. The Chicago native grabbed seven boards in Sunday's win to reach 500 for her career.
Through four games in the 2022-23 season, Morrow leads the nation in scoring with an average of 31.5 points per game in addition to 10.8 rebounds per game.
DePaul (2-2) will travel south for the Elevance Health Fort Myers Tip-Off, Nov. 25-27, hosted at Suncoast Credit Union Arena. The Blue Demons will face No. 14 Maryland on Friday, Nov. 25 before meeting Pittsburgh on Saturday and Towson on Sunday.
