Morrow Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for Third-Consecutive Week

Sophomore forward averages 20.3 ppg and 14.0 rpg en route to Fort Myers Tip-Off MVP honors
NEW YORK – For the third time in as many weeks, DePaul sophomore forward Aneesah Morrow has been selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Monday.
Morrow led the way for the Blue Demons in a 2-1 week at the Elevance Health Fort Myers Tip-Off which saw the Blue Demons take down No. 14 Maryland and former BIG EAST foe Pitt.
Named the tournament Most Valuable Player, Morrow recorded a double-double in all three games of the three-day event to average 20.3 ppg and 14.0 rpg.
Against the Terps, the Chicago native registered a team-high 22 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Saturday's win over Pitt saw Morrow notch a 23-point and 16-rebound performance while collecting five steals before totaling 16 points and 16 boards in a setback to Towson in the weekend finale.
Nationally, Morrow currently ranks third in the nation in scoring at 26.7 ppg and sixth in rebounding at 12.1 rpg. Her five double-doubles through seven games this season is good for fourth among Division I players.
DePaul returns to action on Sunday, Dec. 4 with the BIG EAST Opener at Butler. Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m. CT with action on FloHoops.
