DePaul Athletics Partners with Vitalant to Host Blood Drive at Wintrust Arena

Fans can donate blood this weekend at the women's game on Friday and men's game on Sunday

CHICAGO – DePaul Athletics is partnering with Vitalant to host a blood drive at Wintrust Arena during their upcoming women's basketball game on Feb. 25 and men's basketball game on Feb. 27. Vitalant – a nonprofit organization that provides blood and lifesaving products to area hospitals – is currently bolstering its efforts to combat a national blood shortage due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"DePaul Athletics is eager to use its platform to continue to make a difference in the Chicago community," said Taylor Stapleton, Senior Associate Athletics Director. "We're encouraging all eligible Blue Demons fans to come out, support our teams, and help Vitalant in increasing the national blood supply to help save lives in our community."

Feb. 25 (7 p.m.) – Women's Basketball vs. Seton Hall – Blood Drive from 5:15-9 p.m.
Feb. 27 (4 p.m.) – Men's Basketball vs. St. John's – Blood Drive from 2-6 p.m.
