Sydney Parker Awarded BIG EAST Honor Roll

Parker earned a spot for her two goals against Lindenwood
CHICAGO, Ill. – DePaul women's soccer defender Sydney Parker earned a spot on the BIG EAST's weekly honor roll this week. The BIG EAST honor roll is sent out every Monday of the season, highlighting various players for their athletic performance. The BIG EAST mentioned Parker for her two goals against Lindenwood last Thursday, securing the 3-1 win for DePaul.
On Thursday, Parker scored both her goals within the first 45 minutes of the game. Katie Godden assisted her first connection with the net, sending a cross to the far post, and meeting Parker for the early lead. With five minutes left in the half, Grace Phillpotts passed the ball to Parker on a free kick. Parker saw an opportunity and polished off her second goal of the game.
This will be Parker's third career mention on the BIG EAST weekly awards. Parker was featured as the BIG EAST's defensive player of the week and received her first honor roll mention last season.
