Blue Demons Prepare for Weekend Competition in Madison, Wis.

After coming off their first win of the season, DePaul looks to dominate in Madison
MADISON, WIS. - DePaul men's tennis (1-1) heads up to Madison, Wisconsin for a weekend-long competition against the University of Wisconsin and Princeton University.Â
ÂThe battle against Wisconsin starts at 5:30 p.m. CT on Friday then the Blue Demons take on Princeton at 10 a.m. CT the following morning. The two-day battle will take place at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium. Fans can tune into the action by clicking here.Â
ÂLast Friday, the Blue Demons opened their dual season with a double header against Notre Dame and IUPUI. The Blue Demons fell to the Fighting Irish 0-7 but came back to dominate the Jaguars 6-1.
ÂWisconsin opens up their 2023 dual season with Friday's matchup. Last season, the Blue Demons fell to the Badgers in a close 3-4 battle. Wisconsin went on to achieve a 12-10 record overall.Â
ÂPrinceton also opens its dual season this weekend with a double header against the Badgers and the Blue Demons on Saturday. The New Jersey team closed out its 2022 regular season with an impressive 18-9 record. The last all-time meeting between DePaul and Princeton took place in 2011, when the Blue Demons claimed a come-back 4-3 victory over the tigers.
