WASHINGTON, D.C. - DePaul volleyball defeated Georgetown on the road, 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 27-25), Saturday evening.Â

Junior Aly Kindelberger recorded 11 kills on .625 hitting percentage, her season-high and the second-best hitting percentage of her career. Kindelberger added four blocks throughout the evening.Â
Audrey Klemp and Bailey Nelson totaled nine and eight kills, respectively. Klemp had two blocks, while Nelson had three blocks during the match. The Blue Demons recorded a hitting percentage of .485 in the first set on 19 kills.Â

Senior libero Rachel Krasowski led the team in digs, earning 17 total and averaging 4.25 per set.Â
"One those matches that nothing came consistently but we found a way to scrap and claw to the redzone every time and when it mattered most, we put the match in the hands of our hottest attacker and scored," said head coach Marie Zide. "Georgetown's Wilhite made it super hard to get out of that gym alive. We were great on their lefts and middles. This team is definitely worth the price of admission."Â
Georgetown (13-15, 4-12 BIG EAST) was led by Peyton Wilhite with 15 kills.Â

SET TWO: An early run by the Hoyas gave the hosts an 8-3 lead. Kills from Kindelberger and Pressly, as well as a block from Klemp and Oxley put the Blue Demons within one, 8-9. Georgetown used another 6-0 run to take a seven point lead before DePaul took a 7-2 run to get within one, 21-22. The Blue Demons looked to tie the match, but Georgetown leveled the match with a block.
