Blue Demons Conclude Fall Competition at Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The "Band of Brothers" will make the short trip to South Bend for the second time this fall as they close out the tournament portion of their season. The Notre Dame Mini-Dual Invitational will take place at the Eck Tennis Pavilion, and will run from Friday, Nov. 3 - Sunday, Nov. 5. Teams in attendance include DePaul, Drake, Illinois, Louisville, Notre Dame, and Princeton.

In the tournament, two Blue Demons will play against an opposing pair, first in a doubles match, followed by two singles matches against the same opponents. Whichever team secures wins in two of the three matches advances to the next round. Throughout the weekend, each duo will play four singles and doubles matches in total.

Three pairs of Blue Demons will compete over the weekend, listed below are the duos and the draws they have been entered into:

Jona Gitschel / Shourya Verma - Green Draw
Leon Huck / Laurentiu Mandocescu - Gold Draw
Matteo Iaquinto / Sven Moser - Blue Draw

Doubles is set to begin at 9 A.M. CST with singles action to follow.
