Blue Demons and Ramblers meet for 56th time
CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball returns home for the first time in over two weeks on Sunday, Nov. 26 when the Blue Demons host longtime opponent, Loyola Chicago. Tipoff from Wintrust Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT with live coverage carried on Marquee Sports Network as well as FloHoops.

A Look at the Blue Demons
Following Sunday's matchup, the Blue Demons will remain home to host Michigan State on Thursday, Nov. 30. Tipoff on CBS Sports Network is slated for 6 p.m. DePaul will honor its Hall of Fame Class of 2023 during halftime of Thursday's contest.

Season ticket renewals for the 2023-24 women's basketball season have concluded. Current ticket holders that have yet to renew can call the ticket office to secure new seats for the upcoming season.

A Look at the Blue Demons
- DePaul returns to Wintrust Arena for the first time since Nov. 9, after going 1-2 at the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas last week.
- The Blue Demons capped their trip with an 85-62 victory over Howard on Nov. 20 behind four players in double figures.
- Anaya Peoples led DePaul during their time in the Bahamas with 20.3 points per game to go with 8.7 rebounds. Michelle Sidor averaged 11.3 points an outing over three days, totaling nine three-point field goals.
- Peoples has paced the Blue Demons offense this season with four 20+ point performances this season, reaching double figures in all six games. She currently ranks third in the BIG EAST in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocked shots. Her 120 points on the season sits at 19th nationally.
- Kate Clarke (14.2 ppg), Jorie Allen (10.3) and Sidor (10.0) are all averaging double digits on the young season.
- The Blue Demons have been active on the glass, leading the conference in rebounds (43.0), grabbing a season-high 52 boards last time out against the Bison.
- DePaul is the league leader in steals (11.2) and blocks (4.8), having recorded seven or more steals in all six contests this season.
- Graduate guard Katlyn Gilbert's 18 steals through six games this season, is top-15 in the country.
- Loyola is 2-3 on the season, having most recently dropped a 56-49 decision to Brown before the Thanksgiving holiday.
- The Ramblers have three players averaging double figures in Sitori Tanin (12.4), Sam Galanopoulos (12.2), and Alyssa Fisher (11.8). Tanin leads the squad in rebounding at 8.2 boards per game.
- Loyola is playing all but one non-conference matchup in the confines of Illinois in 2023. The Ramblers will travel to Iowa City, Iowa to take on Iowa on Dec. 21.
- The 2023-24 squad is comprised of seven returners and six newcomers including a quartet of transfers.
- Allison Guth is in her second season at the helm in Rogers Park.
- Sunday will be the 56th meeting between the two teams. Loyola is DePaul's second-most common opponent all-time behind Marquette.
- The Blue Demons hold the edge 45-10 and have won the last seven matchups.
- DePaul is 23-4 in home games against the Ramblers.
- The Ramblers have three coaches with DePaul ties on staff with Guth serving as an assistant coach in Lincoln Park from 2008-10. Current Loyola assistant coaches Chanise Jenkins (2011-16) and Jenna Rubino McCormick (2003-07) both suited for the Blue Demons.
- DePaul Special Assistant to the Head Coach, Lisa Ryckbosch, starred for the Ramblers from 1980-84 and remains 8th all-time in scoring with 1,296 points.
- Head coach Doug Bruno spent eight seasons (1980-88) as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in Rogers Park, aiding the Ramblers to the 1985 Sweet 16.
