Blue Demons Sit in Sixth After First Round

PALM CITY, FLA. – Following day one of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, hosted by UNCG, in Palm City, Fla., the DePaul men's golf team sits in sixth place. In a loaded field that includes 19 teams, the Blue Demons shot 297 (+9) and are only four strokes behind second place.

Noah Kolar led DePaul in the No. 1 spot, finishing the day with a 73 (+1) to tie for 16^th. Kolar tied with his teammate, Artemiy Yalovenko. Yalovenko and Kolar both shot -1 on the back nine holes, including six combined pars.

Cameron Karney sits T35th following the first day of competition after scoring 75(+3). Karney is followed by Alex Vekich in 44th with a 76(+4) and Conor Glennon tied for 56th at 77(+5).

DePaul also had two individuals competing as Aarjav Patel is T56th after scoring 77(+5) and Billy Gneiser sits in 66th with a 78(+6).

The Blue Demons will be back in action tomorrow with the third and final round taking place Tuesday, Feb. 14.
