DePaul Visits No. 15 Villanova on Tuesday

Two of the nation's best in Morrow and Siegrist face off inside Finneran Pavilion
VILLANOVA, Pa. – DePaul women's basketball will close out its East Coast road swing on Tuesday, Feb. 21 with a matchup against 15th-ranked Villanova at Finneran Pavilion. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. (CT) on the BIG EAST Digital Network streamed on FloHoops with Matt Janus, Harry Peretta and Meghan Caffrey on the call.

The Blue Demons are coming off an 86-64 win over Providence on Saturday afternoon which helped the Blue Demons improve to 15-13 and 8-9 in conference. Aneesah Morrow went off for 31 points and a season-high 22 rebounds for her 22nd double of the season and 49th of her career.
Darrione Rogers added 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists while Anaya Peoples tallied a season-high 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting The Blue Demons outscored the Friars 51-34 in the second half to pull away while dominating the boards 49-36.
DePaul leads the BIG EAST in rebounding with 41.1 rebounds per game while ranking 13th nationally in offensive boards a game with 15.3. When outrebounding opponents, the scarlet and blue are 13-5. The Blue Demons are first in the league in scoring at 77.8 points a game and second in the league in steals a game with 9.0.
Against ranked teams this season, DePaul is 1-3 with the lone victory coming over then-No. 14 Maryland at the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

Siegrist, who most recently scored 50 points against Seton Hall and eclipsed the BIG EAST career scoring mark, is averaging 29.1 points per game to go with 9.2 rebounds. Sophomore guard Lucy Olsen orchestrates the offense, averaging 12.7 points and 4.4 assists per contest.
As a team, Villanova is first in the BIG EAST in assist to turnover ratio at 1.6 and blocks at 5.5 while holding opposing teams to just 57.8 points per game which ranks second in the conference.

The Blue Demons hold a 20-9 series lead over the Wildcats despite losing the past two games in the series including a 71-64 decision at Wintrust Arena on January 11. In games hosted on the Main Line, the teams are split 6-6.
