Blue Demons Head to Valpo Fall Invitational

CHESTERTON, Ind. - The DePaul Golf team continues its fall slate with a trip to the Valpo Fall Invitational, Sept. 18-19. The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Valparaiso, will be played at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Ind. with a par-72. Â
A total of nine teams are slated to compete including Bradley, Evansville, Green Bay, Detroit Mercy, Western Illinois, Central Michigan, Chicago State and Valparaiso. Additional individuals will compete for a total of a 63-player field. Â
Monday is set to tee off for two rounds at 8 a.m. CT with a shotgun start, followed by a 7:30 a.m. CT start Tuesday morning for the final round. Â
DePaul began its 2023-24 season last weekend, taking fifth overall at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational. Noah Kolar led the Blue Demons in the season opener with a 219 (+11) for an 11th-place finish. Â
Last year at the Valpo Fall Invitational, DePaul took third as a team and were led by Conor Glennon individually who also placed third. Glennon's performance was his career-best round of 18 at 66 (-6) and round of 54, 210 (-6). Â
