Elena Milam Earns BIG EAST Honor Roll

CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer goalkeeper Elena Milam has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Monday. The reigning BIG EAST goalkeeper of the week notched another shutout game in DePaul's 1-0 victory against NIU last Thursday.

Milam continues to lead the conference in saves, after stopping four NIU advances last week. The Seattle, Wash. native totals 39 saves on the season with an average of 5.59 saves per game.

This week, DePaul begins its BIG EAST conference slate with an away game at Marquette on Thursday, Sept. 21, for a 7 p.m. kickoff. On Sunday, the Blue Demons are set to celebrate Alumni Day, as they take on Xavier at 1 p.m. CT.
