DePaul Track and Field Travels to South Bend

The Blue Demons compete in the Notre Dame Invitational
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field is set to compete at the Notre Dame Invitational, Saturday, Jan. 19. First events are scheduled for 10 am CT. Fans can keep up with the action here.
Eastern Illinois, Lewis, Loyola Chicago and host school Notre Dame are set to participate.
The day kicks off with the women's weight throw. Bille Martin, Kash Allen and Jessica Beckman represent the Blue Demons on the women's side. The men's weight throw follows with Thomas Goggin and Ian Cox competing.
At 11 a.m., Jordyn Showers participates in the women's long jump while Patrick Diakite is set to compete in the event on the men's side. Diakite will also participate in the men's high jump.
In the women's high jump Amelia Barrington is DePaul's lone competitor while Showers partakes in the triple jump. Later on, the women's shot put features Allen, Kindle Miles, Beckman and Noelle Malkamaki.
On the oval, the men's 60m hurdles will have DePaul record holder Darius Brown and Paul Goins in the lineup. In the men's 60m Cameron Attucks will compete alongside Dominic Cole.
Sprinters Maia Mays and Nevaeh Lowe compete in the women's 60m before Meghan Dieball makes her DePaul indoor track debut alongside Nina Amicon, Grace Havern and Gianna Sanchez in the women's one mile. Damian Rodriguez, and Joe Knanishu also make their indoor track debuts in the men's one mile with Michael Ronzone in the lineup as well.
In the women's 400m, fans can expect to see performances by Kayliah Motes, Nadja Moll, Sofia Bologna and Claire Dunn. Jarel Terry and Daniel Fasasi partake in the race on the men's side.
Alexa Havon, Madison Volz, Sonja Nagle and Lauren Pacsi compete in the women's 800m at 1:55 p.m. Michael Parry, William Previdi, Jack Ward and Jason Gould race in the men's 800m soon after.
To round out the day-long competition, M. Mays, Leandria Elam, Havon and Dunn partake in the women's 4x400m relay before Brown, Joshua Edmonds, Knanishu and Rodriguez close out the races with the men's 4x400m relay.
