DePaul Defeated By Seton Hall Tuesday Night

CHICAGO – DePaul men's basketball dropped Tuesday night's contest against Seton Hall, 72-39, at Wintrust Arena. The Blue Demons were led in scoring by Da'Sean Nelson with 11 points and eight points from Jalen Terry. Nelson also tallied two assists and two steals while Terry nabbed four rebounds. Keyondre Young had a team-high five rebounds, also marking his season best.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Seton Hall held an early 6-2 advantage before Nelson recorded DePaul's first field goal of the game on a three-pointer. The Blue Demons held Seton Hall without a field goal for over four minutes, pulling the game to 15-7. Terry ended the half for DePaul with a pair of three-pointers as the Pirates held a 31-18 advantage.
The Pirates opened the second half 8-of-10 from the floor as part of a 12-2 run, creating an advantage they would hold through the finish of the game.
OF NOTE
- Jaden Henley recorded a career-high five steals, marking the most in a game by any Blue Demon this season.
- DePaul tied a season-high nine steals.
- The Blue Demons held Seton Hall to a season-low eight free throws made while drawing more fouls from the Pirates than any other Seton Hall opponent this season.
