Blue Demons Back in Buckeye State for the Cincinnati Hidden Duals

CHICAGO – Women's tennis travels back to the state of Ohio, this time for the Cincinnati Hidden Duals on Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center.
Friday's contests will feature two rounds of doubles and one round of singles. The scarlet and blue open doubles play with a battle against Marshall at 11:00 am CT followed by a matchup with Miami (OH) at 12:00 p.m. CT. The Blue Demons will face host Cincinnati in its only singles action of the afternoon. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT.
On Saturday, DePaul will take part in one doubles event and two singles competitions. Doubles gets underway at 9:00 a.m. CT versus Cincinnati at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center. After double play wraps up, singles matches begin at 10:00 a.m. CT with the Blue Demons battling the Redhawks. The day concludes with a singles face off between DePaul and Marshall at 1:00 p.m. CT.
The squad enters the weekend after a fast start at the Rocket Invitational a week ago. Each one of the players collected a win including Helin Alvarez, Roberta Sechi, Isabella Gibson, and Eleanor Cochran all earning their first victory with DePaul.
Junior Hannah Smith dominated going a combined 6-0 in both singles and doubles matches at the Rocket Invitational. Smith and Co. look to continue their early season success when play begins on Friday.
