DePaul competes in South Bend for fourth-straight fall
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – DePaul men's tennis heads to the Notre Dame Mini Duals, from Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3, in South Bend, Ind. Competition kicks off Friday morning at the Eck Tennis Pavilion, with the first serve scheduled for 8 a.m. CT.
Ten teams will compete at the ND Hidden Duals, including seven Big Ten schools, one from the ACC, one from the Mid-American, and DePaul as the sole BIG EAST representative.
Matches will be split into two draws, green and blue, with DePaul seeded in the green draw alongside Indiana, Western Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Freshman Andy Hadziabdic will team up with senior Jona Gitschel in doubles, while redshirt-freshman Thomas Giles partners with senior Sven Moser for the weekend.
Tournament Format
The event will feature pairs competing in a mini dual match format, with each matchup starting with a doubles set followed by two singles matches. The team winning two of the three matches will advance. Each pair will compete in four singles and four doubles matches throughout the tournament.
