CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer closes out its non-conference slate on Tuesday, Oct. 8 when Oakland visits Lincoln Park. Kick off is set for 2 p.m. from Wish Field with coverage on FloFC.

Demon Doings
- DePaul is 4-4-2 and 1-1-1 in BIG EAST play after a 2-0 win over Creighton on Friday afternoon for its first conference victory of the season.
- The Blue Demons head into Tuesday's contest riding a three-match unbeaten streak including victories against Loyola and Creighton and a draw versus Xavier.
- The Blue Demons 20 goals on the season matches its most in a single campaign since 2017. The goal tally ranks second in the conference and top-35 nationally.
- In the national ranks, sophomore midfielder Noeh Hernandez is 12th in Division I with six assists while also in the top-40 in points.
- Hernandez alongside graduate forward Logan Finnegan lead the Blue Demons with four goals apiece. The pair each scored a goal in DePaul's defeat of Creighton last week.
- Despite being outshot on the season, the Blue Demons have capitalized on their chances, converting on 20 of their 44 shots on goal in 2024 (.454).
- Santiago Davila has played all 900 minutes in net for DePaul, making 41 saves on the season and most recently earning BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week for the shutout victory in the Blue Demons last outing.
- The Blue Demons back line anchored by Christian Baumgartner, George Wyatt, Ryan Thomas and Evan Jimerson have not allowed a goal in the last 196 minutes of game play.
- Each of DePaul's defeats this fall have come by a one goal margin.
- The Golden Grizzlies are 3-5-2 entering the midweek matchup including a 1-1-2 mark in Horizon League action, coming off a 4-1 defeat to Milwaukee on Saturday.
- Jack Komparens and Lejs Plicanic pace the offense with three goals apiece. As a team, Oakland has scored 12 goals through 10 matches.
- In net, fifth-year goalkeeper Alex Flowers has seen action in nine of 10 games, making 36 saves and allowing 1.44 goals per game.
- Paul Doroh is in his first season leading the Oakland program after spending seven seasons on the Golden Grizzlies staff.
- Saturday's match will be the sixth meeting between the two programs with the Blue Demons leading the series, 4-1.
- The last time the two sides met in Sept. of 2022, DePaul claimed a 1-0 victory on the road. Sam Moore scored the first goal of his career in the victory in Rochester.
